The most my favorite tool is chisel. When I make glasses, I use them three different in the width, 3mm, 9mm, 15mm. They are the most frequently used tools. A reason to like them is not only to be convenient to process wood. If they become dull, I polish them on a whetstone and can modernize a blade. They are because it is the sustainable tool which is continued using throughout my life. And the form that wood and iron coexist has the beauty of utility.
I feel the coexistence of wood and metal is beautiful with the glasses. Industrial products-like metal has a mild atmosphere by hand processing. The rim of alloy is formed by bending existing frame by hand. The aluminum frame drops the corner with file and is round. The silver bends by hand and makes a soft temple line.
